Mosquito Killer

Mosquitoes lay eggs in stagnant water and hatch within 24 to 30 hours. The most common mosquitoes we find in our homes, workplaces and gardens are the striped mosquito and the brown house mosquito. Female mosquitoes have a long, piercing mouthpiece, which they use to pierce a host’s skin to consume their blood.

How to protect your home from mosquitoes

  1. Remove any stagnant water that may be around the property; mosquitoes love to breed and lay eggs around water. Empty pots and trays, garden water features, buckets, pans, sandpits, boats.

  2. Clean out gutters annually – Leaves and other debris can build up and become the perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes.

  3. Trim large trees close to buildings – some trees with big leaves can hold enough water for mosquitoes to lay their eggs.
