How to get rid of cockroaches at home. 3 steps.

Cockroaches are not the nicest creatures, you'd like to welcome into your home. They bring bacteria and germs and can even cause allergic reactions. Here is a simple way to deter cockroaches from taking up residence in your home.

1. Hygiene

Cockroaches love to snack on leftover food and crumbs. Cleaning kitchen benches and food storage cupboards is essential.

2. Entrances and hiding places

The areas behind fridges and freezers are favourite cockroach spots as it’s dark, warm and dry. As the fridge motor provides a constant source of heat, it can attract cockroaches year round, so we recommend spray in these areas.

Spray all the gates cockroaches use to get into your home: doorways, windows, air ventilation covers etc.

Ecomist Sniper is a residual spray for interior and semi-enclosed outdoor areas. The dried spray acts as an invisible barrier to crawling insects and lasts for up to 3 months. It kills crawling insects when they come into contact with it. Sniper can also be used to spray directly on to insects for a fast knockdown effect.

3. An ongoing protection

Use an insect killer, that eliminates insects: flushes insects out of their hiding places, repels and kills them. The insect killer should provide the 24 hour protection and be safe to use arond people, food and pets.

Ecomist developed the original automatic insect control concept that has been proven time and again in the most demanding environments. It eliminates flying and crawling insects in indoor and semi-enclosed outdoor areas. Round-the clock protection without you needing to do a thing: just set and forget. The Ecomist Natural Insect Killer uses natural pyrethrins derived from the Chrysanthemum Daisy, sourced from Tasmania and East Africa and manufactured in New Zealand.
